How To: Play 'Final Fantasy Awakening' on Your iPhone Before Its Official Release
Despite numerous reports announcing its stateside arrival, "Final Fantasy Awakening" has yet to show up in the iOS App Store, much to the chagrin of millions of fans in the U.S. Unfortunately, the game seems to be stuck in soft-launch limbo, with no word as to when it'll land stateside. With a little hack, however, you can give this immersive game a try right now.Set in the fictional world of Orience, Final Fantasy Awakening will pit you against an empire and its unstoppable mechanized horde that's hellbent on world domination. Thankfully, you won't be taking on this massive quest alone, as the game gives you the ability to form your very own party of ragtag heroes of varying skills — from swordsmen and sharpshooters to mages — that you collect as you battle. Of course, Final Fantasy wouldn't be complete if it didn't contain the usual RPG elements are present, such as leveling up your heroes along with their gear through combat and experience, as well as collecting powerful Eidolons like the mighty Bahamut that you can summon during combat to devastate your foes. If those weren't enough, you can compete with other players in epic PvP battles for epic loot. Because of its soft-launched status, Final Fantasy Awakening isn't available for download for regions outside Australia, Philippines, or New Zealand. Fortunately, there's a fairly simple workaround to let you download the game, so if you'd like to give this game a try before it arrives in the United States, we've got you covered.
